Universal Koji Starter
Exclusively imported from Japan, our Koji starter is a pure spore product in capsules. Each capsule dissolves in a small pump spray bottle in minutes, making it easy to apply to rice or your preferred starch or grain for fermenting in the Planit Pod.
Each bottle includes 15 capsules, each making about 6 pounds of fresh, amazing koji. The artisanal use of koji is virtually unlimited, and making it fresh in-house opens many doors to flavor and differentiated food experiences.
